These Grain Free Protein Cookie Bars have very simple clean ingredients. Since they are grain free they won’t leave you feeling heavy. They also are very low in sugar. Grain Free Protein Cookie Bars
Ingredients
Dry Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup Owyn protein powder
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened dairy free chocolate chips
Wet Ingredients
- 1/2 cup dairy free butter melted
- 2 tablespoons coconut sugar
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds
- 6 tablespoons warm water
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Get out a 9×9 baking pan and grease with a small amount of dairy free butter. If it’s a nonstick pan you don’t need to grease it.
- In a small mixing bowl mix your ground flax and warm water until completely combined. Let sit for a few minutes until the flax thickens. Whisk together all of your dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl. In a separate medium-sized bowl mix your melted dairy free butter, coconut sugar, and thickened ground flax.
- Bake in the center of your oven for about 15 minutes or until firm to the touch. Let cool slightly before slicing into bars.
