What Age Group Are These Free Printable Number Worksheets For?

As a homeschool mom, I believe you know your child best. I don’t subscribe to the public school’s time schedule on most things and I fully believe each child learns at different rates.

Some preschoolers are confidently counting to 10 and some are far from it. Likewise, your kindergartener could be far beyond numbers 1-10 or they could still need a little practice. Either way review is never a bad thing. Numbers 1-10 will set them up for success as they begin to tackle those higher numbers.

With that said, I’d say you could find a use for these free worksheets for any child between preschool and kindergarten level. Even if they already know these numbers, these worksheets offer a fun way to identify them in a game-like format. Plus most kindergartens still need to practice writing numbers, so that alone would be a good exercise for your students.

How to Store These Number Activities for Preschoolers and Kindergarteners

While these could certainly just be one-off worksheets that you use and throw away, you could also laminate these number activities for your preschoolers and kindergarteners to use again and again.

Laminate Your Prints

I’m not one to spend money when free is an option. But if you plan to make a lot of these free toddler printable activities, spend the 25 bucks for a laminator. It makes the activities last! I got one of the cheaper ones on Amazon and it’s worked great. You can click here to find the Willing Brand Laminator that I use on Amazon, it’s currently listed at $25.49. You will need to buy laminator paper as well either at your local office store or again, Amazon to the rescue – 100 sheets for just $8.79.

Combine these laminated sheets with a whiteboard marker and you have a worksheet you can use again and again.

Make Your Own Busy Book By Storing Activities In A Binder

By having an easy-access binder you can create a “busy book” for your homeschool students to pull out and dig into any time they want. For more information on how I’ve made a busy book check out this blog post.
