Play-Doh Printable Mats for Preschool Counting Practice
If you’re looking for a new hands-on way for your preschool-aged child to practice their number and counting skills, these printable Play-Doh mats are great! Little ones learn through play, so make learning fun with some Play-Doh learning. These mats are free to print and easy to use!
My kids love Play-Doh. It’s such a fun activity that involves sensory play, improves their fine motor skills, and sparks their imagination. That’s why I love these Play-Doh printable mats. You can turn your preschoolers’ Play-Doh time into a great chance to learn their counting skills. Learning should be fun for young kids; that’s why tools like this can be so helpful. They incorporate educational skills as a game, creating a love for learning that will grow with your child.

What is a Play-Doh Mat?
Play-Doh mats are essentially prompts meant to guide your child’s Play-Doh time in a specific way. Your child can play with their Play-Doh right on top of the mat, helping them outline the given numbers and shapes with the mat acting as a guide.
These Play-Doh Mats will help improve your child’s fine motor skills, spark creativity, and guide them as they practice their numbers and counting.
Do I need to Laminate My Printable Play-Doh Mats?
I highly suggest laminating these so you can use them again and again. Play-Doh does stick to paper, so if your child wants to trace the numbers with Play-Doh, you’ll have to toss the papers after a single use if you don’t plan to laminate them.

What Age is This Play-Doh Mat Activity For?
These Play-Doh Mat printables take your kids through numbers 1-15. These numbers are typically learned in Preschool. However, you know your child and what they need extra help practicing. My 1st grader is doing addition, but somehow still forgets what the number 12 looks like. So, extra hands-on practice can never hurt when building foundational skills. :)
