Creamy Vegan Dressing
This Recipe Is: Free of gluten, dairy, soy, eggs and nuts. It is also vegan.
Hi Friends!
Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I’m excited to share this recipe with you because it is literally something I make all the time. It is so easy and so yummy! I never buy dressing, I just don’t see the point. It’s way too easy to make at home. Half the time I just do oil, vinegar and seasonings. But sometimes I’m craving something creamy. That’s where this dressing comes in!
A lot of times I just make an individual amount right when I’m making a salad. You can easily whisk up the ingredients in a bowl, add in your salad ingredients and mix. Or you can make a big batch and keep it in the fridge to use throughout the week.
The flavor of this reminds me so much of ranch dressing! It’s so creamy and tangy. You can definitely play with it by adding any of your favorite seasonings. I usually make it just like this because I like the zesty ranch flavor.
Creamy Vegan Dressing
Print ThisIngredients
- 3/4 cup vegan mayonnaise - I used Earth Balance
- 1 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 1/2 teaspoon paprika or Old Bay Seasoning
- 1 1/2 teaspoon nutritional yeast
- 1 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar or lemon juice
- 1/2 cup olive oil
Instructions
- Whisk vegan mayonnaise with all seasonings until well combined.
- Whisk in apple cider vinegar.
- Very slowly whisk in the olive oil. Whisk in a few tablespoons at a time then stop pouring to vigorously whisk. You want to be sure the oil and mayonnaise don’t separate. That’s why slowly adding the oil and whisking vigorously is important.
- Store in fridge or pour onto your favorite salad! Enjoy!
